  1. My voice has been severely underused throughout quarantine, and my vocal chords have been noticeably weakened over time. I’m not a singer, but this video is perfect for use right before phone interviews. Thanks a lot!

  2. Tip: for those of u struggling w the lip roll, press two fingers on each cheek to just under ur cheekbone and press down then try whilst doing so. It helps 🙂

    1. @Salsabeel Mahd Np! I used to do vocal training and this is what they made us do lol 🙂

  3. After 1 year of incorporating Jacobs warm ups and certain exercises into my Carnatic music classes , I’ve finally broken my voice into the correct pitch. I was singing as usual last week and suddenly it was like my vocal chords “snapped” into place to sing the right pitch of the song. My voice felt sweet and felt like a huge lump of weight was taken out of my throat. It took DAILY practise and correct warm ups and cool downs after every session. I was on the verge of giving up because my voice didn’t really ch age much but I am so glad I didn’t. Don’t lose hope and keep practising !

  4. Me: *finding a quiet, empty room to do this before church*

Jesus: “I think he’s trying to speak in tongues.”

tip: after this vocal warm up start with softer songs and then work your way up to the harder ones, also make sure to do vocal cool downs when you’re done

    1. @Taslima Akter everybody’s voice is different, start with one where you don’t need to strengthen your voice out of your most comfortable range (without notes you have to work too much to reach)

As somebody who was in choir from age 6 – 12 trust me the older you get the more you need this. When I quit choir it damaged my voice so much I’m glad I found this to help me out. Also I have lady Gaga in the background lol. ( BRO IM BREATHING BETTER NOW)

I’m just starting a podcast on tiktok and I’ll be throwing in some singing too so these vocal warm-ups are very essential for my life right now ?

    2. Lady Gaga is negative frequencies, try an alternative artist not played on the radio like Poppy.
