5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing results for the price., April 20, 2012

I ran a mobile sound business for 8 years and owned 12 SM-58 mics. I sold the business, but now have a basement band for fun.

I really wanted to buy an SM-58, but $100 is an investment. I bought the Pyle 58 mic for $13 and got free shipping.
It is as durable and sounds as good as any of my old SM-58’s.
I like the fact that it has no on/off switch. While doing sound for less than professional bands, the vocalist would sometimes accidentally turn the mic off and that became a hassle.
I am going to buy more of these in the near future.

I Have been doing sound professionally for many, decades, and have realized to now not just “hear” to a mic.

However, to spend occasions with specs and measuring devices to truly see what’s happening. And this mic specs out precisely the same way.

This mic is practically equal to a brand new SM 58 is sound and efficiency.

I Will will give an explanation for why this varies from different reviewers with similar experience.
A microphone is a mechanical gadget that has a Moving membrane that creates digital alerts as the aspect strikes inside and out of the coil.
Like Every mechanical piece, they degrade over time. No professional sound man makes use of a SM fifty seven for years unless he or she is definite it still works, but it surely does not sound the same.
Does it sound better after just a few years? That is a personal choice.

Anyway, I Can guarantee you that the people who say they sounded exclusive tried it against other existing microphones.

Evaluating a brand new Shure fifty eight and this mic side-by-side displays an almost identical outcome. It’s a buy! Order your pro microphone here ..
